Haling from one of the smallest wine regions in Italy; Molise, south of Abruzzo. This red has rustic warmth, good grip and a velvety palate achieved by an 18-month stint in large oak barrels. The blend is montepulciano, aglianico and trebbiano and the result is a wine which punches well about its price tag.
