Their farmers work in harmony with nature, using regenerative methods where livestock graze naturally, recycling nutrients into the soil with their hooves to improve soil health and capture carbon in the soil, looking after earth for today and future generations. Every farm also has a clear cow welfare plan agreed with their vet because thery believe that happy, healthy animals help make healthy people and a healthy planet.
Golden Hooves farmers are part of a co-operative producing fresh, tasty dairy products. Most of their farms are family run and committed to using the best farming methods to look after their cows, protect nature and produce the best food.
Golden Hooves is a celebration of dairy and, more importantly, dairy cows - farmers focusing on regeneration in a way that their grandfathers would have recognised but with the help of modern technology and data – a way that replenishes the earths’ soil, supports communities and gives the animals who sustain us a life worth living.
Golden Hooves produces top quality, award-winning cheddars with delicious long-lasting flavours, made from 100% regeneratively farmed British milk. Their mature cheddar tastes was awarded Supreme Champion at the World Cheese Awards in 2022!
