Black Mountain Honey was born when, in 2015, a huge swarm of honey bees landed in Laurence Edwards’ garden in Birmingham. He was returning home from a game of rugby, and when he got to his house, the sky was black with bees. A large swarm had landed on a small apple tree in his garden.
Black Mountain Honey's reputation is built on the consistent and market-leading quality of their honey. The production of pure, unpasteurised multi-floral honey is important to Black Mountain Honey. Their honey is never heated above hive temperature and only coarsely filtered so all vital micronutrients remain in the jar.
