GWENYN GRUFFYDD
Gwenyn Gruffydd was founded in 2010 when Gruffydd Rees decided to follow his dream of keeping bees. Gruffydd was kindly given a hive of bees by a friend farming local and it is from there the dream developed into a reality.
The 100% pure, minimally filtered, unpasteurised (raw) Welsh honey they produce has won 2 stars in the Great Taste Awards in 2017 and 2018, 1 star in 2020 and again in 2021 and 2022 and 2023. Their Welsh Honey and our family business has also won many other awards and been runner up.
Gwenyn Gruffydd's main mission is to sell quality single origin honey. Their main and most popular honey is Welsh wildflower honey but depending on crop availablity throughout the year also produce Welsh heather Honey, autumn ivy honey, cut comb honey and other speciality single-origin honeys. All of our honeys are single-origin, not blended.
