HUFENFA DE ARFON | SOUTH CAERNARFONSHIRE CREAMERIES
Set up over eighty years ago, as a cooperative by local dairy farmers, Hufenfa De Arfon (South Caernarfon Creameries has always used high quality local milk to produce milk, cheese and butter at its creamery near Chwilog close by the Llyn Peninsula.
The creamery began producing cheese in 1959 and is known for its flavoursome cheddars, Caerffili and other cheeses.
Hufenfa De Arfon / South Caernarfon Creameries is one of Wales’ oldest and largest dairy co-operatives, which has been farmer owned since 1938. Based on the Llyn Peninsula in North West Wales, an area of outstanding natural beauty, South Caernarfon Creameries is at the heart of this community.
