KARMA DRINKS
When the idea for Karma Drinks was first conceived on Piha Beach in New Zealand in 2011, its founders had a vision for its first product, Karma Cola – to be a “cola with a conscience”. The name Karma was born from using ingredients that would be better for the planet, better for its growers and better for the people drinking it.
Unlike other colas, Karma Cola was created with real kola nuts, that the founders sourced from a village in Sierra Leone, paying the growers a fair price. At Karma Drinks, to this day, Karma Cola still source the kola nuts in their Cola from these same villages and their commitment to supporting these communities in Sierra Leone remains the same.
Through the The Karma Foundation, 1% of revenue from every Karma Drink sold, goes directly to these kola nut growing communities, funding life changing initiatives.
