KURSAT'S
Kursat was born in Istanbul in 1998. Though he had two older sisters, he was the one who shared his mother’s passion for cooking. A naturally curious child, he was always eager to experiment, observe, and learn - often finding joy in doing things his own way.
At 14, Kursat moved to Ghana with his family and completed his high school education in a science-oriented program. Although he initially wanted to study gastronomy, his grades and his father’s traditional outlook led him to pursue a BSc in Genetics and Bioengineering.
But Kursat returned to where his heart was - food. He earned an MSc in Food Science and Technology in Wales, blending his love of cooking with his scientific background. Since 2021, he’s worked as a Development Chef, developing over 3000 recipes.
