MR HOLT'S CHOCOLATE
Mr Holt’s Chocolate Factory produces high-quality everyday chocolate snack bars in the heart of Anglesey. They are a family-run business, proudly celebrating their Welsh roots by branding most of their bars in Welsh.
As cocoa prices rise, some big brands quietly cut corners - using less cocoa and more cheap vegetable fats. That’s why ingredient lists are getting longer, and flavours thinner. Look for yourself: check the back of your favourite purple-wrapped bar and you’ll see the cocoa content sits at just 20%.
Mr Holt's do the opposite. Their signature milk chocolate is 34% cocoa and contains no fats other than cocoa butter. Just proper chocolate, the way it should be.
Founder of Mônuts and custodian of Melin Llynon, the last working windmill in Wales. Richard Holt trained as an apprentice to Master Chocolatier, William Curley, is the former Head Pastry Chef to Marcus Wareing, and is driven by a passion for nostalgia and all things chocolate!
