Picklebits was founded by Will, a former Royal Navy engineer whose quest for the perfect sandwich led him to open a street food stall serving American-style sandwiches filled with pickles. While I spoiled my customers with amazing homemade pickles, my own kitchen was stuck with bland, mass-produced jars from supermarkets.
Picklebits are crafted in Wales with amazing ingredients, never adding any artificial preservatives to their products, just organic vegetables, pickled naturally. Picklebits combine a passion for ridiculously tasty food with a commitment to doing things better, because a better pickle makes a better sandwich. Will was frustrated that he couldn't find a UK made pickle that used clean, organic produce and zero chemicals and realised that if he wanted a healthier, sustainable, and superior pickle, he had to make it himself. He constantly experiments with unique recipes, from classic kosher dill pickles to Japanese style ferments, hoping to create a jar of PICKLEBITS for every palate and every meal.
