This week, the Welsh food and drink industry will gather for one of the most anticipated events of the year - Blas Cymru / Taste Wales, taking place on Wednesday and Thursday (22nd & 23rd October) this week in the ICC Wales, Celtic Manor, Newport. The team at Blas ar Fwyd are delighted to be attending this flagship event once again, ready to wear all their hats - as buyers, retailers, and producers - with the very best of Welsh food and drink.

We’re passionate about showcasing the depth and diversity of Welsh food and drink. Events like Bla sCymru / Taste Wales provide the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow producers, discover exciting new products, and share our own award-winning Welsh ranges - from our own branded condiments, deli goods to our much-loved award-winning seasonal soups.
We’ve always believed in the power of collaboration across the food industry - working closely with local producers, retailers, and hospitality partners to bring the finest Welsh flavours to tables across the country and beyond.
Wearing Our Buyer, Retailer and Producer Hats
BlasCymru is a unique event where every conversation sparks new opportunities. This year, the Blas ar Fwyd team will be attending with our buyer hat, looking out for exciting new Welsh products to add to our wholesale and retail ranges.
We’ll also have our retailer hat on, meeting with suppliers and partners to explore how we can continue to bring exceptional Welsh produce to our customers - both through our large online store and our shop and deli in Llanrwst.
And of course, we’ll proudly be wearing our producer hat too, showcasing our own branded products - including our popular soups, ready meals, and chutneys — all made with care and the finest local ingredients.
