Younger brother of Franz Hirtzberger, founded in 2014, has a 9ha estate in Wösendorf in the Wachau, Located just below their top Kollmitz site on Loess & gravel soil, less use of botrytis than found in spitz, natural yeasts, aged in large used Austrian oak. 2018 seen as an average year – slow start to the season but then a very hot April got everything going and the temps remained decent so an earlier harvest.
