Powerful ripe red fruit mixed with prunes and and more sweet vanilla from the oak, with liquorice and dark chocolate on the finish. The wine has a lovely rich palate weight, with balanced grainy tannins matched by refreshing acidity. This is a wine that will age for a decade or more.
