Il Cascinone, Leccio Chiaretto, Monferrato DOC

A delicious Chiaretto from the heart of Piemonte which is sure to give any hardened Francophile a compelling alternative. Made primarily from Barbera, with the addition of 40% Dolcetto, this is fresh with delicate, crisp red summer fruit character. Pretty pale pink in colour. Fresh and delicate on the nose with citrus and raspberry notes. The palate balances tangy redcurrant and cherry fruit with crisp, lemony acidity leading to a clean dry finish. A delicious style of pale, food friendly rosé.
