Isole e Olena, Chianti Classico

A deep crimson red colour. Typical sour cherry and red fruit character with bramble notes. The palate has a supple, lithe character full of perfumed fruit and is given depth by a mineral vein. Structure comes from the taut acidity and tannin structure.

"Lustrous mid-to-deep ruby. At first, a nose that's savoury and minerally with shy, brooding fruit underneath. Succulent, tangy, wall-to-wall cherry fruit on the palate. Great depth and fantastic, coating, almost slick tannins. Vibrant."
