Welcome to Wales! Croeso i Gymru!

What better way to absorb yourself in Welsh culture and flavours than to sample some of the very best Welsh food and drink delivered direct to the door of your holiday premises.

There are great Welsh food producers throughout Wales and our food boxes have been carefully curated to give you a selection of these.

There are three different boxes to choose from:

Tywysogion (Princes)

Tywysogion

Tywysogion references the great Welsh princes of the Middle Ages. It is believed that Llywelyn Fawr (Llywelyn the Great) - who dominated Wales for 45 years - was born locally at Dolwyddelan Castle and the stone coffin in Llanrwst Parish Church (St Crwst) is believed to be Llywelyn’s (His body was lost in the River Conwy during transfer to Llanrwst from the Abbey at Maenan).

A great way to sample some fab North Welsh ales and some flavoursome Welsh gins (small bottles) and Welsh tonic water.

Dwynwen

Santes (Saint) Dwynwen is the Welsh equivalent of St Valentine (St Dwynwen’s Day is on the 25th January).

Legend tells that Dwynwen, daughter of 5th Century Welsh king Brychan Brycheiniog, was forbidden by her father from marrying her sweetheart, Maelon Dafodrill, and so she prayed she would fall out of love with him. An angel provided a potion and Maelon turned to ice. Dwynwen was granted three wishes: she wished that Maelon be released, that, through her, all lovers were protected and that she remain unmarried. Dwynwen then retreated to Ynys Llanddwyn off the Anglesey coast to live as a hermit for the rest of her life.

Ideal for a couple, this box includes welsh cakes, jam and cream, fruit cider and gin and tonic.
